It would appear that DC has voted in a smoking ban in restaurants and bars similar to the ones in other large cities. This brings back memories of a post in the past where the WP reported that Howard County had decided not to pass a similar ban. I was a bit annoyed by this. I'm glad I read the entire article tonight, though. In the last paragraph, there's a little blurb about Howard County, and they did pass a ban on new restaurants and bars, older ones will get to keep their separate smoking areas until 2010. YEAH! This is especially good news now that my asthma is back, however I need to stop eating out...
