Any Disneyland Fanatics Out There??

I really have to go make dinner, but before I make dinner reservations for our Disneyland trip, are there any Disneyland fanatics out there who have some tips for me??? I doubt I'll find any East Coasters who can help me, but if anyone from CA reads this, HELP!!

Thanks, in advance!:)

Deanna,

I asked my friend Amy to come over and check out your site. She goes to Disneyland with her kids and lives there in L.A.

Maybe she'll have some info for ya!

OH, cool, thanks Deana!! I have heard the Blue Bayou for sure, but I'm not sure how kid friendly that is. Thanks so much!

Hi Deanna, I am Deana's friend who lives in CA. We just got passes to disney, so we have been there recently quite a bit. And yes, Blue Bayou IS super cool. The problem is, is that everyone else thinks so too. We have tried to get into Blue Bayou on two different occasions. You need to make reservations days in advance. They say that you can make reservations 60 days in advance. It is very kid friendly and it is a great environment . It is actually inside the pirates of the Caribbean ride. My sister in-law and her family ate there and said that the food was ok food, by far the best food in the park, but not out of this world food. We always go outside of the park in downtown disney for dinner, but if you do that go early because a lot of other people do the same thing. A good place for lunch is the pizza place next to Space Mountain in tomorrow land. They have pasta, pizza, and salads. Oh! Don't miss the show on the river at night, it is SO GREAT!!!! What days of the week are you going? How old are your kids? Maybe I can suggest some rides worth standing in the line for. Oh for you - definitely ride the Indian Jones ride. SO MUCH FUN!!!

Wow! Great advice. I am planning to make my dinner reservations ASAP - we aren't going until July 5-7. We decided to skip the 4th! We've heard the 5th is as unbusy and the 4th is! Hopefully we'll be able to get into the Bayou. We have purchased the meal plan, which include 8 meals. At WDW, the plan includes Downtown Disney restaurants - not sure about Disneyland.. Thanks for commenting!!
