This was the sweetest group of slumber party girls you could find!! Unfortunately, it's one of the few group pictures we got. Truth be told, I have no pictures of all my childhood slumber parties because back in those days, our parents were not scrapbook fanatics!!The girls very kindly included Em in all the festivities and even though Kt is the smallest in the picture, she was the star of the party, and a fine hostess. She is almost 8 going on 18 I'm afraid. Everything was "so hot" or "totally awesome" and she had approval over all party activities and food. Of course, cleaning up was not on her to do list! But that's OK - she had the party of a lifetime in her mind and it was a pleasure creating that experience for her.
I'm sort of wondering if the "lack of self-control" that appeared on her interim progress report might have something to do with those pre-party jitters! It's so unlike her, but then again... hard to contain all that excitement!
