It happened today - the blossoming trees in our neighborhood began to come alive again. I guess the warmth mixed with just the right amount of drizzle created the perfect backdrop for them to awaken!
Just as every year, we leave on Friday, right when things will begin to look amazing, for the north. I'm sort of wishing we could stay for a few days of cherry blossoms, but once again we will miss going downtown to see them. I am glad the spring has arrived! (Sorry for the camera phone pictures - I'm lucky to be alive after typing in all that info while driving. Don't tell!)
