Word of the Week

My visit to Savannah allowed me to "embiggen" my vocabulary with a little help from my niece, who is three. She was recalling that the last time I visited we went to McDonalds. That was "lasterday". Apparently, anything that happened before yesterday was "lasterday". Don't kids think up the best words??

Both of my girls said "lasterday". I was so sad when they finally got it right. Lexi still says "prehysterical" instead of prehistorical. I refuse to tell her the correct pronunciation!!!

Hehe.. I like that, too! Emily had a bunch.. but I can't remember them. Katie had only one, ever! She always said You Nork when we drove up to CT - and Emily inherited that one. I never corrected it either, especially because it was the only funny thing she ever said, little miss perfection!

I remember Ben declaring that his great-grandma had lots of "prunes" on her face. (he meant wrinkles) :0)
