Palin Power

I'm watching Sarah Palin's speech... I don't usually watch these boring things, but I didn't want to miss this one. Obama has put this woman through the wringer this week, so she must be deserving of some kind of attention. I mean... if everyone is so worried about her, she must be special. Right?

I don't know how anyone could be unimpressed with that. Wow.

I thought Palin executed a great speech--had good presence, etc. However, she's very conservative, and for those who don't agree with her stance on the issues...I can see how she would not have been endearing.

Personally, I haven't decided yet what I think of her. There are things I like, and things I don't.

She really did surprise me, especially after a long week of liberal media attacks. I like her a lot, I think she is personally conservative but a true believer in the constitution and not the manipulation of it, and I think she's very authentic... something I question of everyone else in the campaign. As for having substance... for me, she has more substance than her counterparts. I can identify with her more than any of the others. And my friends and I are always joking about how the world would be a better place if we were in charge! LOL Now's our chance to see if we were right. ;-)
